HANDCRAFTED IN INDIA ✦ EXPORT & BULK ENQUIRIES WELCOME
THE HANDS BEHIND THE CRAFT
Skills passed from parent to child, generation after generation.
Every piece we export begins with a person — a metalsmith shaping brass, a stone cutter reading the bands of an agate, a carver following the grain of a hardwood block. Their knowledge is the real value in every product we ship.

INDIA'S CRAFT HEARTLANDS
India’s great crafts grew up in specific towns, where whole communities have specialised in one material for generations. These are the traditions our collections draw on.

METAL · MORADABAD
Cutting, shaping and finishing iron, brass and copper by hand.
Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh is so closely tied to metalwork that it is known as Peetal Nagri — the City of Brass. Its workshops are known worldwide for brass, copper and iron décor, and skills such as cutting, beating, engraving and patina finishing are often passed down within families. This deep pool of metal craft is what makes intricate, layered wall art possible at export quality and scale.

AGATE · KHAMBHAT
Reading, slicing and polishing natural banded agate.
Khambhat (Cambay) in Gujarat has been a centre of agate and bead working since ancient times, and its stone traditions are recognised with a Geographical Indication for Khambhat agate craft. Artisans here know how to read a raw stone — where the bands will show, how it will polish — before the first cut is made. That judgement is what turns rough rock into coasters, bowls and décor with striking natural patterns.

WOOD · SAHARANPUR
Carving, joining and finishing solid hardwood by hand.
Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh is one of India’s best-known wood carving centres, with Saharanpur wood craft protected by a Geographical Indication. Its carvers are known for deep floral and geometric relief work, jaali (lattice) panels and fine inlay. These techniques give our wooden panels, boxes and frames their rich, hand-made character.

HOW WE WORK WITH ARTISANS
We match each design with workshops that specialise in that exact technique.
A cut-metal mandala, a polished agate bowl and a carved jaali panel each need different hands. Rather than forcing every order through one factory, we place work with the craftspeople whose skills fit the piece best.
We aim for steady, repeat work rather than one-off orders.
Consistent orders let workshops plan, keep skilled people employed and invest in better tools. Working with the same makers over time also keeps quality and finish consistent from one shipment to the next — which matters to every buyer.
Samples, finish standards and checks agreed before production starts.
Before bulk production we share an approved reference — a sample or detailed photos — with the workshop, so size, colour and finish expectations are clear. Pieces are then checked against that reference before packing. See our Quality & Craftsmanship page for the full process.
Every export order creates demand for traditional skills.
Many hand crafts survive only when there is steady demand for them. By bringing these pieces to buyers around the world, each order helps make traditional skills worth learning for the next generation of artisans.
