India’s agate tradition is rooted in Khambhat (Cambay), Gujarat — a stone-working centre whose craft traces back to the Harappan civilisation.

Agate Stone Crafts

Agate is a banded variety of chalcedony quartz, and every slice reveals its own rings of colour, formed naturally over time. Our agate pieces are sawn, ground into shape and polished until the stone takes on a glass-like lustre that lets its banding glow.

Because the stone is natural, no two pieces are ever identical — which is exactly what makes them special.
