Sheesham
Indian rosewood — dense, strong and richly grained in warm browns.
Sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo), often called Indian rosewood, is one of India’s most prized furniture and décor woods. Its tight, interlocking grain makes it strong and stable, and it holds fine carved detail well. Natural colour runs from golden to deep brown with darker streaks, and it takes oil, wax and lacquer finishes beautifully. Ideal for carved panels, boxes, trays and heirloom-quality pieces.
Mango Wood
A sustainable hardwood with lively, varied grain and natural tones.
Mango wood comes from mango trees that have finished bearing fruit, which makes it a popular choice for eco-conscious buyers. It is a medium-hard wood with an attractive, varied grain that can show golden, honey and light-brown tones — sometimes with natural streaks. It carves and finishes well and suits contemporary décor, serving ware and value-conscious retail ranges.
Acacia
Hard, durable and water-resistant — a favourite for serving ware.
Acacia is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with natural oils that help it resist moisture, which is why it is widely used for trays, bowls, chopping and serving boards. Its grain is bold and contrasting, ranging from light honey to rich brown. With a food-safe oil finish it makes practical, good-looking kitchen and table pieces for retail and hospitality.

- Dust with a soft dry cloth; avoid soaking or harsh cleaners.
- Keep away from direct heat and prolonged strong sunlight.
Wood is a natural material that responds to its environment. In very dry or very humid climates it can expand or contract slightly. That is why we season and finish our pieces before shipping, and why we recommend keeping wooden décor indoors, away from heaters, air-conditioner vents and wet areas. With this simple care, solid hardwood pieces can last for generations.
